The Opening scene has Joanne running from a restaurant grasping her iPhone and then proceeds to read a text.. This is pretty much the pretext (no pun intended) for the whole show.. It takes product placement to a whole new level.. Even to the ridiculous point that after just having sex for the first time with Noah she feels the need to grab her iPhone to text her sister! (Sorry for the spoiler!)

I find it hard to get immersed into a TV Show where there are so many ridiculous holes.. The most gaping one seems to be how apparently everyone seems to be living way way beyond their means! the school teacher who lives in a mansion and drives the latest top end Range Rover.. I dont know to many School Teachers living on Shrewsbury Road!! Even the detective driving a new top of the range Audi..
It all just makes everything seem farcical and removed from reality.. That aside the whole thing seems weak and forgettable
Baffles me how many people give this 5 stars.. 5 stars should be reserved for TV Gold.. this doesn't come close
