Misogynistic, Regressive, Repulsive, Distasteful and Tedious - A little less than 3 years ago this was my review of Kabir Singh, but as time went on and I got the opportunity to see the movie again, I started appreciating the monster performance that was delivered by Shahid Kapoor. The entire romance between him and Preeti still was absurd to me, but I was moved by his representation of an extremely flawed character with an undying desire to be with the girl he loves at all cost and his impetuous ability to drag his life down the drain as he made feeble failed attempts at moving on.
