While the concepts that this movie explores are quite interesting (regarding losing identity in a relationship, about falling in love to a version of someone, etc..), the premise for the cloning (going away for a year or two) is extremely weak. The last plane scene is unnecessary: the beetle in the sink does the job well to clear any doubts about the ending.
