It is by far the best Batman film since The Dark Knight. I love how this film finally explores an aspect of Batman that has only been explored in the comics, and that's Batman as a detective.
I was initially hesitant when I heard Robert Pattinson was going to play Batman, but I ended up loving how he played a Batman that was still new and inexperienced to the vigilante role, and how he hasn't figured out how to split his Bruce Wayne and Batman persona's yet. Zoe Kravitz was amazing as Selina Kyle, and Colin Farrell was brilliant as the Penguin.
It was visually stunning. I loved how is suit and tech was primitive by Batman standards. The Batmobile was simple, yet badass. The fact that it was a stripped down American muscle car with a loud, intimidating engine, designed to scare the living hell out of the criminals of Gotham was amazing.
The storyline above all was the best, and I loved how the Paul Dano played thr Tiddler as a more grounded terrorist. The fact that every clue revealed a layer of the Wayne family, and it didn't portray them in a positive light.
Overall, again, the best Batman film since The Dark Knight. 5 stars.
