This review is my own opinion. Please respect that this is My review. I watched the first two episodes and quit. I thought the sex scene was over the top and the excessive cursing was unnecessary. My niece encouraged me to continue watching. I binged watched this weekend. Overall the show became more entertaining and some parts were funny. I think the character Angie is over the top. Her attitude and vulgar language is too much for me. I think it fuels the stereotype of the angry black women. As a black women I cringed when she cursed out the director, degraded and disrespected him in front of the cast. It was a tough scene to watch for me. I think the character Tye is in a dilemma that a lot of people may feel. If I show my true feelings for a non traditional, same sex, different race love what will people think? I hope in season 2(feeling optimistic about a second season) this is explored more. I think the other characters Quinn and Camille are fun to watch. I’m glad I gave the show a second shot. Looking forward to a second season👍🏾

I loved the twist and turns of the storyline. Some parts of the movie was predictable and some of it was not. My husband and I are going to reenact that scene with the paint and all of the beautiful brown skin lol. My recommendation is to check it out for yourself.
