A glossy, overly polished version of a powerful female artist I deeply love. I kept turning the pages to find the real Alicia Keys, but found it hard to find her amongst all the name dropping and sparkle. And yet I will continue to explore her awesome music, knowing that all things don't have to be perfect, they just have to get made.
