This book is so dark and not good for people who are going though dark phases in life. While i was listening the audiobook i keep asking why jude doesn't fight back and say no to bad things happening in his life, for instance after brother luke he was okay to be abused at the counsel, it seems author wants every abusive thing happen to him at any cause. He was bitten to death by his boyfriend but he is keep saying sorry. On the contrary he always say no to Willam and his father. Say no for therapy and good things. Why the character is defeated? Why there was no ray for hope? I wonder how come he is so charismatic at work? There are so many unsettling questions.it feels pulp fiction not realistic.
