I'd rather go read the much better version of this movie in the wittier, delightful three book series, to which the film has so many close and specific similarities, it feels more than coincidental. I'm not necessarily accusing the multibillion dollar Disney corporation of plagiarizing an author after her books were pitched to their studios, but I wouldn't put it past them either.
