I love Adam Sandler so much but this film traumatized me. This movie is absolutely heartbreaking and yet it shows the reality of the world we live in today where everyone is out for himself no matter who they have to hurt to get where they want to get. The tragic end accurately represents the fate of all who walk this path. Three stars because I can’t get over the ending. Still hurting from it hours later, extremely anxious watching the entire film. The film is psychologically taxing the entire time and the anxiety lingers for hours after it ends, it was a continual assault on every human sensation until it’s tragic end.
