This album is a cohesive body of work which exploits to the listener, a projection of what Cardi’s life was like prior to fame and after. With tracks such as Get Up 10 & Be Careful the listener is able to understand Cardi B from an emotional stand point, as she discusses the pressure of her newly found fame/stardom and her relationship with husband Offset. The album has a perfect balance of slow and fast paced tracks, with some of my favourites being I LIKE IT, Bodak Yellow, Best Life & Ring. All in all the album is an impressive debut which broke a number of records upon release. And will go down in history as one of the biggest debut rap albums ever!
