Absolutely thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this superb series. Spectacularly acted, written, and filmed. I watched it when it was released and am still enjoying it months later.
The plot hooked me from the opening with the discovery of the Creede massacre to when Franke Goode rides his horse to the pulpit singing with congregation and then preaching. And that was within the first 30 minutes of episode 1. Layer on character behavior of carrying around an amputated arm and using it as a compass? A town full of only widow women basically due to a mining tragedy? The plot is absolutely original, beyond interesting, and captivating. So glad my remote has pause as I didn't want to miss a single minute.
Icing in the cake is this is a western, such a rare treat in all of today's series. Watch Old Henry after treating yourself to this series.
