I just finished reading Adrift, and it was wonderful! It was a really enjoyable (and sobering at times) read. The world building made the locales feel familiar but frightening in a way that I can imagine the future world you have shown on the page. Brideau’s attention to details is compelling, and the character development made me feel very attached to the humanity and existence of not only Ess but the collection of companions she encountered along the way. I look forward to whatever LB writes next!
