The characters are wrong. Effects are terrible quality. Doesn't have much in common with the original, and beloved, series. It would be an ok movie for someone who hasn't seen the original material. I think I speak on behalf of all the Dragon Ball fans when I say don't waste your time. I feel personally offended that someone thought this was good enough to label Dragon Ball.

Probably a minority with my opinion here. But for me, this was a disgrace. I get it's supposed to be modern times, and things change according to the times. But this is anything but a wholesome family show. Right out the gate there's F bombs, MF, GD, the N word, drugs, and gun violence. I'm disappointed that instead of honoring the comedy, feel-good style of the original, they chose to reinvent the original that clearly can't be duplicated into a new age, "woke" version of a childhood favorite. Before any Karen's get their knickers in a knot, I'm aware the original had moments where it wasn't completely appropriate. At least it was subtle and intended to be comedic, with little life lessons embedded in every episode.
