Binged watched this. I love time travel and initially liked and approved the closed loop , no free will path they chose. The 1890 and 1940 storyline are fantastic. Great acting and scenery. I admit I was completely lost until episode 5 I think and then episode 6 was like a Pirot big reveal episode. Unfortunately last episode was not needed, they broke there own time travel rules with it. ( proving time travel into past can't exist as if they broke the " loop" then the loop wouldn't ever exist , ). Anyway a superb watch, would love to delve into the 1890 and 1940 storylines without the time travel as these were the strongest parts of the series.

If you wanted to show someone what film making is , then this is the film. Insane casting, pacing, music, acting. Story telling of the highest degree. Has a muggy dirty feel like Blade runner with fantastic set pieces and thst edge of your seat feeling. This film totally engulfs you into its world, the background score casts a spell on you and even at nearly 4h long, you want more like a halluciant drug. You know how good a film is when it stays with you days after.
