I thought i wanted to try it after the years of playing. The gameplay and units are okay, but the outlook of the whole game does not make me want to play it further. If you are getting this to test if its bad, don't bother, it is quite bad. I am playing this for the story, and the worst part is the fact that the person who filmed and directed the cutscenes are ridiculously bad, even early games like RA and C&C 1 had better filming than this. At least i could hear what the actors were talking...
