Feels like there were a lot more scenes that got cut, lots lost in the edit that might explain the random behaviours of some characters. Some beautiful performances only marred by lack of script/edit focus. *spoilers* The water thing in the final scene felt like a stylish choice with no real underpinning or purpose (other than looking and sounding cool). Why go for Ian? None of this is his fault. What really drives the action here? It finishes feeling very unresolved and flat. A shame for something so well cast, performed, lit and shot. Music also lovely. Script lacking.
