A study in white male entitlement and bizarre brainwashing. The whole franchise is interesting to me in that the horrible, evil villains while cartoonishly bad ultimately want to address global warming, legalize marijuana, keep the USA out of WW1....so right away I know I am a bad guy, right? The son, Conrad, is a complete prat that everyone contorts themselves around to demonstrate how pwecious and wuved he is so *spoiler* it's actually a bit of a relief when he's killed by his own side after deceiving his way on to the front lines. The rest of the movie is a mystery to me because I realized I couldn't give any less of a hoot about any of the aristocrats and the servants who love them so I stopped watching.
