Off to a good start. Writing & depth of characters superior to present day NCIS.

The show should be called, “Lengthy Morning Lectures with Joe Scarborough.” I like several of the regular guests, & record the show so I can fast forward for their commentary. Does Mika’s book about women knowing their value have a chapter on dealing with men that repeatedly interrupt them. Joe constantly interrupts her, & when she tries to continue raises his voice & drowns her out. He does this with guests, but apparently has enough respect for Mike Barnicle & Willie Geist that he lets them finish their sentences. He’s threatened by Donny Deutsch, & ridicules him whenever there’s a subject in which he disagrees. I’ve never seen a more insecure host of a daily show on television. .

Jimmy & Jessica as a couple? Exceedingly cringeworthy.

Smart show with an excellent cast, & first season that addresses a critical & alarming subject.

I’ll be surprised if CBS doesn’t pull the plug before the season ends unless it doesn’t have anything to fill the time slot. It lacks the depth of the characters, chemistry between them, & creative writing of the ABC show of a similar genre, “The Company You keep,”

Excellent cast & acting, but Kelly Reilly owns the show. The psychopathic & sociopathic behavior that has dominated the storyline from Season 1, is losing its hold as the show transcends into the Gangs of Yellowstone.

I’ll give it a few episodes before writing it off completely. Some shows take more time to develop the characters, but that’s a combination of acting chops & scripts, & the networks don’t wait long to pull the plug. Well, I gave it a few more episodes. I heard a recent interview with Vanessa Lachey about moving her family to Hawaii because of the show. If she didn’t buy a home, but rented, I sure hope it wasn’t a long-term lease.

I would have given the show a five-star review in the early seasons, but the increasing amount of Deeks banter is getting old. I’m disappointed Hetty’s insightful, self-assured character role, is being replaced full time, with Kilbride’s personality of demean & ridicule those who work for you at every opportunity. I assume the script writers believe this strengthens the characters audience appeal, but for me it indicates they’re at a loss for words.

The original Walker was entertaining, & reflective of its time. I like the storyline of the current series, & the cast, with the exception of the actor who portrays Walker. The animated, & exaggerated facial reactions that he expresses, in most scenes, regardless of the degree of drama is at times comedic, & inconsistent with the quality of the performances by the other actors.

Anyone whose mania doesn’t subside after watching this movie should seek medical help.
