I liked Hugh Grant in "Mickey Blue Eyes". I like suspense thrillers. I'm interested in religion. This movie was boring and I feel the acting was poor. I feel it was poorly written and directed. I left halfway through just before the action started, but don't regret it. The philosophical arguments were word salads rather than logical or deep. I didn't care if anything thing happened to the characters. The beginning of the movie was also very cringe. Topher Grace's presence was wasted. I enjoyed him in the movie where he goes from an insane asylum to his former home etc. This movie did not build suspense and was too cliched even for a gullible person. I did not enjoy it. It was a lazy creation.

I enjoyed the movie very much. The actor who plays the dad (and all the other actors and actresses) did such a very wonderful job that I did not think about his well known roles in other movies while I was watching this film. I have no criticisms of the movie. Everything was very well done. Very thought provoking. No tired cliches. Highest rating.

I was excited to watch it. I was very disappointed after having watched it. I regret watching it. I like the Schwinn guy and the little girl's acting. The movie was actually depressing. I normally like movies set in the 60s and 70s. It was even offensive. Jerry offends me. I am familiar with the other actors and was expecting funny or interesting stuff from them, but for whatever reasons, their performances were depressing. Also, timing was off, time and time again. Cringy.

Extremely funny and educational. Loved it. 🙂

Simon Pegg is excellent here. Good movie!!
