So I'm less than 5 minutes into Season 1: Episode 1...my senses of humanity and morality are already convoluted...as the father is driving frantically to escape this menacing rain, weaving in and out of traffic, cutting people off, honking his horn, driving like an absolute donkey; I get it, he's a father, wanting to protect his family, doesn't give a toot about the safety and sanctity of others... As he's speeding through traffic, turns completely around to deal with a child removing a seatbelt, I get that too, nobody likes the dinging chime...loses control, causing a seven car pileup, headed by an overturned tractor trailer completely blocking any possibility of traffic moving...essentially condemning everyone else to the madness he is desperate to escape....and now I gotta watch this series...with the effed up father?? Who at seven minutes...declares that he is the only one who can fix the problem...the same donkey who blocked the freeway? Seriously.
