If you are a fan of old mysteries, this series is true to the 1930's period. I love the old pubs, small villages, and beautiful vistas. Authors like Dorothy Sayers and Agatha Christi have loads of 'red herrings' and they make you think. Every time I watch them I see something that I had missed before. Thank heavens for BBC, Acorn, PBS and now young companies like Google for keeping these 'oldies' alive!
