Two stars for the visuals and the above average acting only. It's a mystery without much mystery, with some of the dumbest Jedis in any form of media. The 3rd episode was trite political messaging (which will be affirming to some and obnoxious to others) wrapped in a lame flashback episode.
More than anything, this doesn't have the feel of Star Wars. With the exception of Rogue One, Mando Season 1, and most of Andor, every Disney product moves more and more away from what Star Wars was.
You could have taken the Star Wars label off The Acolyte, rename the Jedi to a different type of doctrine, and put out this show. Most people wouldn't associate it with Star Wars.
