The series was one recommended to me and as I'm a West Yorkshire bloke, I was excited to see Bradford on screen. I was rather disappointed. Despite that, the cultural differences was tremendous to see. However, the plot seemed so farfetched and Harry Virdee, the main protagonist, he's a senior member of the police. As a member of the police, I couldn't understand how he managed to get away with so many things that wouldn't ever be part of police protocols. The violence was too much as well. I had to put the subtitles on as at times, characters seemed muffled. It was incredibly promising and could've been an incredible thriller but all over the place and if it does return for a second series, I do hope the pace slows and they focus more on a consistent plot. 2/5
