This movie was amazing. The quality of the animation and detail was breath taking and made it feel like you were actually sucked into the Super Mario Bros. universe. I was a bit skeptical about the voices before the movie aired, but voice actors, such as Chris Pratt, did well. I also really liked how Princess Peach was not a damsel in distress, and instead worked together with Mario. This added to the experience and reminded me of my favorite newer Mario game, Super Mario 3D World. On the topic of Peach, the details added to her backstory also made room for sequels and gave her some more character. The relationship between Mario and Luigi was also heart warming, and it made me happy to see that Mario and Luigi were good brothers. Luigi helped Mario through the troubles with his dad, and I honestly loved this movie. 10/10. I do kind of mind that key characters (Wario, Waluigi, Daisy, Rosalina, ETC.) were missing, but they did give a hint toward a sequel in the end credits, so I can get behind that. I really recommend the movie.
