Went to see the show on Saturday night. Our first time at the Bridge Theatre and our first time seeing a show that wasn't a musical. Loved Andrew Lincoln since Teachers so when this came out, off we went. Didn't know anything about the play or it's history. We aren't massive theatre snobs either so we went completely open minded. Blown away from start to end. Like a good book, hooked on every word and emotion from the cast. Had a great laugh too and we felt like we were in their world too, living each moment with the cast thanks to the immersiveness of the stage production. Our seats were so close to the stage, we loved every minute and you could see this reflected in the actors too. And being Andrew Lincoln fans, it was so surreal seeing him on stage. I think we loved it more because you could see bits of Simon and Rick throughout the play, which bought it home for us from TV to real life. Looking forward to Andrews next adventure, hopefully he will be on stage closer to home next time. We love you Simon Casey!
