Fortunately we caught this film on streaming for free. So the only waste was our time. However, if you do enjoy perversion that has not before been shown in a film, this movie is for you.

Read the the excellent book several years ago and this movie does a good job of condensing and portraying the storyline. The sport is beautiful as seen from a distance but up close, it is a grueling endurance test. The movie demonstrates this. The acting is well done and the plot moves quickly and smoothly just like the shells depicted in the story. See this movie and also be sure to read the book for more depth and backstory.
