Never read the book, the series has it's moments but rambles on like all Netflix series seem to do. The ending was unsatisfying. I really wanted the crazed Nazi to finally get his magic rock, just to see what happened. The other characters were generic and annoying. I

It was like a mashup of Titanic, Ghost Ship, Aliens, and The Matrix. The result was as weird as the soundtrack, and made zero sense in the end.
