I have played this game since it came out years ago and I am sooooo disappointed. The graphics are worse, the game runs worse, the waiting queue is infernal, skins have gone from an item accessible by buying the game to a commodity endorsed only by abusing children and making a predatorial buying system to force kids to use a parent's credit card for the battle pass to enjoy the game. The lootbox system was luck based but it was way more fair than this bs of a game due to the fact that you got credits if it was repeated. Now you can only acquire credits by griding all the weekly challenges and the reward is smaller than what you would get for a repeated spray. It is an infernal hellscape of a game that hides behind paywalls and grind which is exactly what the Overwatch team promised it wouldn't be. Even Fortnite that has a similar system is still better with their battle passes because they at least allow for you to get enough credits in the battlepass itself to aquire the next one.(I still don't support battle passes in general the game should be bought once and accessible)This goes without mentioning thw fact that they have put zero thought into what taking a 6v6 game and turning into a 5v5 and forcing a 1 tank for the role queue, now tanks like Dva, Winston, Roadhog, Zarya which thrived with two tanks due to having a secondary tank with better protection abilities so they could use their abilities slowly, now they are just worse dps the only good rework was for Orisa whose abilities got reworked around this idea exactly. The game is also so heavily reliant in Overwatch 1 that it shows that the only reason OW1 was taken offline was due to the fact that this game is just a blatant copy paste change some words bs. I loved Overwatch 1, it was my favorite game and the fact that it was replaced with this utter disgrace is abhorrent to me and anyone who loved the game previously. I feel saddened that the new player experience is even worse due to the forced phone bs that they made up to kill the smurf player base which the OW team had supported before but due to changing the price and making it free new accounts don't make blizzard money now so now we need to handle this giant issue that made a great deal of the community. This is a blatant show of corporate greed, I can only pray that they rework all of this but until then don't buy the battlepasses and their bs. They deserve no money for this horrible product that they have created. And if you think i have just complaints, no the simple solution to the most major problem is adding a zero to the weekly rewards so that this whole problem of money can be grinded out. Make the battlepass more expensive if you feel like it but a legendary skin being worth 1900 and a battlepass 1000 is a blatant show that you want to force players into buying more and that is frankly disgusting.
