I liked the book. It was a bit difficult to read, but it did have an intriguing plot and likable characters. A sad ending, which is understandable in a book series. Also I liked the integration of different languages.
My only critic would be that sometimes the book is a bit difficult to follow, and I would constantly be looking up old English (and sometimes French) words in order to follow the plot.
