Yes, it's based on the comics, but it was literally the worst comic-based film and character development I've ever seen, period. I wanted to like it, bec6of the Harley Quinn character and Ildris being in this one...I just had to stop watching it, not even half way thru (HBOMax). Do not waste your brain cells on this.
