Bulbbul movie shows us how hollow our society is from inside. Customs and traditions are basically used as tools to keep patriarchy safe and to dominate females from all ends of life. It is a story of a broken heart of an innocent girl, a story of jealousy, lust and domination. It is a story of the mentality of the males of our society who think woman of their family are their property. They can use them in whatever way they want. Too much pain and torture made Bulbbul so strong that she stopped feeling her pain anymore...be it physical or mental. But she started feeling the pain of many other Bulbbul's and went beyond herself to help them. The movie has shown us the transformation of a fearful girl into a fearless creature.
