I felt much of the movie was obvious; what stays with me is the children's observations into their aging. IRL, we don't remember or even pay attention to our mental aging, because it occurs over spans of years. What if it happened suddenly without the benefit of experience? I thought each's descriptions (or lack thereof) warranted contemplating.
