Honestly, it's an engaging movie. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one offended by the protagonist and her son's betrayal to the antagonist, especially when she herself was a criminal too. The kid was so hateful. I got sick of him. He hated his stepfather just because he wasn't his real dad, like, you got a fabulous life thanks to his charity. At first, her mom telling him and they owe him loyalty for taking care of them when they were at the bottom, I thought it was noble, but she betrayed the antagonist and ran with her son's father the second she got a chance. Sad.... I thought it was entertaining, but the story line definitely sucks.
PD. In case it was not clear enough, the kid is an entitled, self-centered jerk. He was the most unbearable part of the movie. He claimed to care about honestly, and loving dolphins, but had no problem accepting his real dad in a second regardless of his criminal-ish history as an undercover cop. Anyway....
