I have loved previous books by Ken Follett and couldn't wait to start on Circle of Days. Oh my, what a disappointment. It reads as though it was written for children - with an attempt to make it into an adult book by introducing sexual elements but totally incongruous. I find it hard to believe this was written by KF. If someone told me he'd paid a Mills and Boon novelist to ghost write I wouldn't be surprised. Does it get better after page 176? I wouldn't know, I couldn't read any further.

Very poor, so many holes in the plot it was like a colander! Poorly written, poorly acted. I wouldn't have liked to be faced with this version of a flo, in her first scene she looked scared to death - I think it was her attempt at empathy. On a minor note her pony tail kept changing from one shot to another even when walking down the street.
