I think this was amazing, it was refreshing I wish it had been so much longer as I read it in one day that’s how deep I got into the book as soon as I got it. I think Slay was a great balance of adult and action themes and it was amazing seeing how balanced things felt within the story. I think Anita is really coming into herself and I’m so SO excited for any future books we get with her and her story. Laurel has been doing an amazing job writing and I’m fully confident she will continue to do so. This is my TOP urban fantasy series and I’ve yet to find one that even compares. I can’t wait to reread and notice things I missed the first time in Slay.
