I grew up with these books and regularly studied the hands of the violin gods in detail. For me these books were my bible. When these books were published the only way you could see these brilliant artists was to catch a live performance or watch them in master class. One was rarely lucky enough to get up close enough to study the hand position and physiology of each violinist to see how it affected their tone. I believe the greatest violinists who have ever lived have mostly passed away and these books and their recordings are the only conduit to their legacy. I am so thankful to have owned the complete collection.
