While I had not seen the film until recently, this was truly magical. The scenery, story and message were exceptional. This is where Disney shines! While I know they’ve had a run of off-films as of late, this was an incredibly well done movie. This is the kind of real storytelling for which Disney has always been famous. You laugh, you sing, you cry and laugh again. Highly recommend this film, you’ll love it.

“Peter Pan & Wendy” was a decent film, but not a WOW! The story lines general sense of melancholy didn’t pack the punch you used to get from a Disney film. The studio used to make films that took the viewer on an emotional roller coaster filled with laughs, tears and cheers; the types of films that used to leave you wanting more or for the story to never end. Peter & Wendy is not that film. The cinematography was well done albeit many scenes seemed a bit “laggy”. The plot line between Pan & Hook was a bright spot , as well as Wendy taking a more central role in the film. The acting generally wasn’t bad so much as the story wasn’t overly compelling. I am a huge fan of Disney and always will be. However, many of their films of late appear to be made just to make content or no longer connect with the audience in a meaningful way for which they were famous.
