To be honest, I was disappointed in this film. I don't hate it, but it's less than I thought it'd be after the years of work poured into it.
The time travel was messy, and kind of seemed like a convenient stitch patching over many plot holes in how they threw it around. I could deal with the unrealism, with how what they "fixed" in the past didn't affect the future, but all of it was so thrown around.
Next, the undermined so many characters to have it focused on Steve, if not just undermining them for a joke or otherwise. Thor's powers and hammer were given to Steve rather than letting Thor fight, and in result, they made Thor and his traumas into a joke. They could have easily knocked Thor out as they did with Tony, to make Steve fight him alone, but they didn't.
Next, they killed off Tony, which is fine, I didn't really care for either the Captain America or Iron Man, but rather than ending the MCU with the main pillar's deaths as we expected, they killed off Tony to center on Steve and give him a "fairy tale ending."
The other characters, such as Valkyrie or Clint or Korg or Antman, who were missing in the last films weren't even made up for in this movie, they were just put where convenient or turned into few second cameo-like spots. (Again, they didn't mention Valkyrie's real name, Brunhilde, either.) Captain Marvel was probably in five minutes of the film as well, for being a "crucial part of defeating Thanos" they barely featured her.
Another large plot hole was the final fight. The Wasp, Hope, showed up to the fight despite knowing nothing about what was going on, and the only person who could have known about her was Strange, who definitely didn't seek her out and convince them to help them. Wong, or Strange, whoever actually opened the portals, wouldn't likely know the Wakanda situation either, or that the dusted were just back if we assume Wong survived the original snap.
Some of it was kind of hard to understand as well because it referenced too fine of details for the casual viewer to the other movies, but I'll let it slide on the account of everything else.
In my opinion, I won't hate on anyone who likes, dislikes, loves or hates this move, but I liked Age of Ultron better than this. Sorry, :/
