So the case isnt completely laid out but in the few things that it is it does show theres various things missing which would be fault of prosecutors for example they didnt record whole interrogations they would talk 1-3 hours first and they ignored the part that only half of Jays story lined up with the cell phone tower pings and that nothing completely matched them. This along with the fact that Jay changes small to medium things about his story making him unreliable. There are lots of possibilities but both the defense and prosecution seem to have extremely bad cases.
