Somehow there is a reflection of the Divine in Karthi’s character with the constant imagery of the Thanjavur temple…i feel that is what the story is showing…that when you feel lost, the Divine will come with boundless and innocent love and lead you back to a path you already had within you.

Did she actually say “you know there’s a Starbucks in Kuala Lumpur?” Yea, typical American to assume Starbucks is the epitome of civilisation and that the rest of the world lives in trees. Am I making assumptions? Think not, lived there and trust me, Americans will tell you “you speak English really well” when they themselves haven’t…ever. Side note but really off-putting. Tv show wise…so far, just as plain vanilla as they come.
