Vikram Vedha is one of the finest piece of acting of Vijay. Everything is almost same as original one except the acting. I must say even after all the effort by one of the finest actor of bollywood, Hrithik, couldn't match Vijay Sethupathy. The chemistry of two main characters is not that impressive like the original movie. So I suggest if you have already watched the original movie, even the hindi dubbed one, don't waste time watching this one. Better idea, watch again the original.

No Spoiler. This is a brilliant movie. So great storytelling. No less than a novel. Director slowly engaged to get almost like a 1st hand experience of getting manipulated, wrong perception of honor and bravery, horrible of 1st modern war on the planet and ofcourse among all these, the moments of joy, sorrow, fun, terror, empathy are created. Still my favorite war movie is 'Saving Private Ryan'.. but this is no less.. especially when it comes from other than holywood. Incredible.

It is an extraordinary effort by director Soojit Sirkar and lead actor Vicky Kausal. The massacre is shown in details and delivered the heart wrenching feeling. But I feel the dialogues, scenes and storytelling can be better to engage the audience for entire duration. Also the transformation of the appearance of Vicky is not captured throughout the post imprisonment period and even after months of captured in Scotland yards. I am hopeful about the biography movies in India after watching recent time movies. Also I believe, this story has all the materials to surpass movie like 'The Courier.'
