If you long for the unforgiveness of a 90's game, you're gonna love it. If you want a well done game that is a fun escape on your free time, you won't.

If you absolutely love 90s platformers you're gona LOVE this game. If, on the other hand, you HATE: - Having a *VERY* crappy control/gameplay mechanic - Having to get EVERY jump right - Having to backtrack a MASSIVE map/world, a bit faster later on but still veeeeery slowly - Basically being punished over and over Then no, give it a pass, it's a mixture of metroid + dark souls, but the controls are NOWHERE near Dark souls's finesse, nor the map has the Metroid quality.

Once the novelty of lurking around as a monstrosity wears off the games becomes REALLY boring.
