The show is often mistaken to be cheesy and cheap. I agree, there are some elements of the show that were just plain stupid (I’m looking at you valarie solonis). However, this show is a work of art! Amazing story telling, excellent actors and actresses, and subtle horror which I dig. I couldn’t even begin to tell you how incredible these actors and actresses are! Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Lady Gaga (was mind blowing), Kathy Bates, Connie Britton....the list just goes on and on. That subtle horror I talked about earlier isn’t like jump scares, it is the intense ominous feeling you get, the bone chilling opening credits (my favorite part of the show. go watch the opening credits and try to not be scared... I dare you), and the creepy piano music (Murder House). What’s unique about this show is that it is an anthology series with each season being a different story with different characters....however, starting in season four the season become intertwined with characters from previous seasons showing up all over the place. IT. IS. GENIUS. Now....bad parts.....Killer Santa? I’ll pass. Two faced evil ghostly freak show performer? No thanks. Band Aid brand looking faceless drilldo raptist demon? Again, No. besides these things, it’s a good show. GO WATCH!!
