Please don't form your opinion before watching the movie. There's a massive difference between remake and adaptation, LSC is the latter. And a very good one at that. We should always separate the art from the artist personal lives and views. Good example Tom cruise movies and his Scientology beliefs. And believe me this movie does not portray Hindus or Sikhs in bad light at all infact it highlights them and India very beautifully. (the running scenes and when amir khan ties his turban). Watch the movie with an open mind and then form your opinion.

good acting and dialogues but script and direction are horrible

I would actually give 3.5 but Google doesn't allow it haha. It started very stale but picked up when he started telling stories from his life. There are some good jokes that work for me and some that don't. This is his side of the story and it's clear from the title and the initial bit, so I knew to expect a bit of Ted talk/emotional bits. I'm fact they were a nice touch to the special. Good show, I've always enjoyed Kapil but in moderation.

This movie presents only one side for the majority of the movie. There are bits of the opposite argument, but neither gives them proper time nor does it answer any of the arguments presented. Other than that there are no science-based logics and nothing new is presented in this documentary. so, I found it very less information-dense.

Sorry to say as a Badminton player who has followed her life in real time, this movie had horrible playing scenes with hollow characters with some inconsistencies with made no sense to me. 2 star is for the actors who played saina's mother and gopichand. Nothing memorable about the movie where the real story lead to the rise of Badminton in India which is now the biggest sport in this country after cricket. Such a shame.
