Bizarre... the bots have penetrated into movie reviews. They must truly be everywhere now. Oddly, that sort of connects to one theme of the movie. If you are looking for a tidy Hollywood ending with the good guys riding off into the sunset, this won't be a good choice. If you are in the mood for a carefully nuanced and uniquely shot flick with subtle themes about the blurry lines between entertainment and art, privilege, racial suspicions (in all directions), and the fragility of society; I'd give it a go. The dance scene (which goes from funny, to awkward, to tragic) is an acting masterpiece.

It’s a solid little low budget sci fi, but not worthy of the hype it’s getting. In the end the story is fairly basic. I do admire the audacity to hold long one shot monologues and to fade out visuals at times.
