I personally liked this book! It definitely gave me vibes of The Little Mermaid, but it definitely has a darker twist. I would totally recommend it to readers that like a tale of love and darkness. As they say, Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Though, I will say it was like the book went by peculiarly fast, and it was somewhat hard to wrap my head around everything, especially the epilogue (which I wasnt expecting). Overall, it's a fantastic book and Deidre is a talented writer :)
