You know how every time you catch a certain movie on TV, like The Day After Tomorrow, or Die Hard, or Inception and you just keep watching it. I feel like this is one of those movies... if you caught it on TV you would probably sit there and watch it, even if you’ve seen it before. I had zero interest in watching this movie until I caught it on television and was sucked in. Thankfully I guess it was towards the beginning, so I watch the whole movie. I haven’t watch SLN in a bit so, while I did know who Pete Davidson was, I’d never seen him act or perform. It’s a slowly evolving story that builds layers and flavors and depth of characters. That doesn’t mean it’s boring, it just means it’s slow at moments but it works. Is it the best movie I’ve ever seen? Nah. I’m still giving it 5 stars for being a good story with a great cast and a high rewatchability factor.
