I was a bit concerned that I wouldn't like it, because I adore Elton John and I have lost count of how many times I have seen him perform live, starting in 1970, I can't believe how brilliant this film portrayed Elton's life and career, only thing that baffled me was the reference to how Elton was influenced by to change his name, Elton was naturally after a former band member in Bluesology, but it was looking at a Beatles picture in the film, and saying John after John Lennon, everything I have ever read. Said it was after Long John Baldry, it makes no difference, to the brilliance of the film, but as a fan for nearly 50 years, I am just so curious which it is, as it took me by surprise x
