Miscast...loved Sam though. Priyanka not a good actress, stiff ,boring , inauthentic.Save your dollars, folks.Nothing to see here , literally.

Lame movie tired old , unoriginal .Miscast didn't laugh once.The previews pretty much were the movie.

A love letter to anyone dealing with mental breaks of a loved one...impossible to come out of this movie unscathed ...cried buckets and seared in my brain. Of course Sir Anthony Hopkins can pull at heart strings like no other.Loved it.

This movie ,overhyped ..cause you know Costner/Lane thing..but Costner seemed checked out emotionally in this film ,while Lane tried to overcompensate emotionally.Perhaps a better script might have touched or bonded one to the characters and their plight....

Some predictable Jane Ayre moments in this series...the societal norms of the period with an added spice of the mystery gossip columnist.. Easy viewing. Gorgeous costumes and settings

Purported as a comedy?? This movie can not decide which direction to go...not funny at all. Just drama,exploring the under currents of racial America in the 70's.Not a bad movie,but certainly no Oscar caliber...
