Okay listen, I LOVE this game! It's the reason I even bought a wii U and later a Switch. But I have one serious bone to pick... This game needs a more efficient way to play with friends online. Other online games (use Fortnite as an example) allow you to meet up with your friends in a lobby and then choose where you want to play. It's super convenient and makes playing with my far-off family really fun and easy. Splatoon 1 & 2 are pretty much the opposite in this aspect... Splatoon practically hides where my friends are playing and communication features are non-existent, so that sucks... If I'm lucky, I might be able to join a friend who is ALREADY PLAYING a MATCH in regular battle. That is, of course, only if people in their current room leave before the next battle starts and my friend doesn't leave the battle as well! But most of the time, I have to go out of my way to play with friends. I have to call them on phone, tell them which room to meet me in, and wait for them there. It's really disappointing that they haven't developed a better feature in this regard. I'm crossing my fingers that Splatoon 3 has this problem fixed. If not, I'm not sure I want to continue with Splatoon. 😕🥺😭 Edit: probably not true of me not getting Splatoon 3, but I really just want the creators of Splatoon to take some advice and fix this issue so we can all enjoy playing this game with our friends and family a bit more.
